Take a look at our new video: How to add an MX record to a domain

Flexibility is one of the key characteristics of running your own fully featured web hosting account. When you have all necessary features for running your hosting, domain, email, etc. settings you will have the freedom to change them the way you like to suit your particular needs. In the previous posts you could get into the flexibilities of the Custom DNS records option included in your Control Panel. The presented add custom A record to domain
and change domain NS records videos showed you how to point your hosts to external servers.

Now there is another movie added to this series of Edit DNS movies, showing you how to set your email communication to be handled by an external mail server. The flexibility this service offers is in that you can change the default mail server assigned to you by your host  to any other mail server address of your choice. Thus, you will keep managing your websites from your hosting account, while the mail communication is served from an external location that is more convenient for you.

The add MX record to domain video will show you how to access the Custom DNS Records section of your Control Panel and specify the new MX record settings – host, record type, IP address, Priority Level, TTL values, etc.
