ModSecurity added to the NTC Hosting Control Panel
We have added a brand new section to the NTC Hosting Control Panel – ModSecurity. ModSecurity is an Apache module that is designed to protect your sites from malicious hacker attacks and your community sites – from spamming attempts.
The ModSecurity firewall application is enabled by default for all websites in your hosting account. There is nothing to configure or set up on your end.
It is set up to automatically block all insecure requests to your sites. To flag requests as compromising, we are using the commercial rules at http://www.atomicorp.com.
You can access the ModSecurity section in your Control Panel straight from the Control Panel’s home page or from the Advanced drop-down menu.
