Renewing your domain through your hosting Control Panel? Check out how to do that in a few clicks (a video tutorial)

Achieving a noteworthy web presence is to a large extent dependent on your choice of a domain name for your site. The domain registration, however, is a time limited service and you will need to keep yourself informed of the upcoming expiration date for your domain if you do not want to lose it. Most registrars offer a multi-year domain registration service, so you can choose to have your domain for a minimum of one year and a maximum of 10 years. Whatever the period, you will need to make sure you have the domain’s expiry date on record, so you can renew it well on time. Otherwise, you risk losing your domain to someone else searching for a good domain for their site or just for a good bidding item.

To prevent either case from happening, you will need to be familiar with the domain renewal procedure, which may differ from a registrar to registrar, but in all cases is comprised of a few simple steps. To illustrate this procedure for you, we have shot a video using the domain renewal wizard of the NTC Hosting Control Panel. The renew domain name video will show you how to access the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel and follow the domain renewal procedure steps – from selecting the domain and the number of renewal years to selecting the payment method. The example is applicable to both the domain taken with the web hosting plan and to single domain registrations.
