Managing the DNS settings of your domain must one of the most important tasks for you as a website owner. Depending on the edit DNS action you want to apply you will need to know what particular DNS record to manage. Sometimes, you may need to point a subdomain to a server different from the one of your current host, without having to use the IP address of that server directly (just as you would need to do if setting a custom A record to your host). In other cases you may want to rename a host or create generic names. For all these cases you will need to set a custom CNAME record to your host.

To help you easily learn how to perform this operation, we have shot an add custom CNAME record video, taking you through all the basic steps of the procedure. See how to log into the Custom DNS Records section of your Control Panel, select the host and specify the required IP address of the external server. In case you have not found a solution for hosting your domains, you may wish to consider the web hosting offering by NTC Hosting.
